This is the kind of weather that’s perfect for diving. In the morning, air temps were in the low 60’s meaning no stress gear-ups on the surface. Water temps at the surface were 78°F which felt absolutely wonderful. As usual, there’s still a termocline around 20 feet, and if you were brave enough, temps near the bottom hit a chilly 43°F.
Don’t forget that Hyde’s Quarry is open on Labor Day, September 6th at 9:00 AM. Come on out and enjoy the amazing early fall weather along with some of the warmest water of the season.
